THE PERFECT CALENDAR

THE PERFECT CALENDAR

THE PERFECT SOLAR-LUNAR FEMINIST INTERNATIONAL FIXED CALENDAR!

  • Every month in the Perfect Calendar is 28 days. This directly coincides with nature because lunar cycles and menstrual cycles are both 28 days long! If you have periods, you would never need to program your phone to remember your period again or tell you when you’re fertile or ovulating. You would be menstruating, fertile and ovulating the same week every month (if you have regular periods)! Keeping track of your female health would be so much easier!
  • Every day of each month falls on the same number of that month. That means that every month begins with Sunday and ends with Saturday. The 2nd is always on Monday. The 3rd on Tuesday. The 4th on Wednesday. The 5th on Thursday. And, funny enough, the 13th always falls on Friday, so every month would have Friday the 13th, every single Friday! And, the Perfect Calendar is 13 months long, so that means thirteen (13) Friday the 13th’s, every single year!
  • Thirteen Friday the 13th’s every year means every single year would be a lucky year, and, this is the way the Universe designed our sacred planet earth and its lunar and solar cycles! The way we keep time is supposed to be mathematically perfect, feminist (in harmony with the female menstrual cycle and women, who were made in the image of the Universe) and easy to understand and remember! The Feminist Calendar hits all those points!
  • Every month would have 28 days and four Friday the 13’s, and each year would have thirteen months and thirteen Friday the 13’s! This means 28 days/month x 13 months/year = 364 days/year. Oof, we need 365 days a year! That means we need to add one extra day, called Year Day, to the end of the year, as the last day of each year! However, Year Day would NOT be part of any day, week or month! It would not be part of any week or weekend, like Monday or Saturday, and it would not be part of any month, like December or January. It would just be its own day! Year Day! It would just be an extra day, an international holiday! So that means 28 days/month x 13 months/year = 364 days/year + Year Day = 365 days! Yay! It’s perfect!
  • Oof, Leap Years you say? Well, every 4 years, we would have a Leap Year to account for every earth year actually lasting 365.25 days, so you add Leap Day to every fourth year, right after Year Day, to have the Perfect Calendar! So you add Leap Day right after Year Day once every four years for an extra 2 days of the year that don’t coincide with any day of the week or any month – they are just TWO, not just one, but TWO extra days of holiday vacation that are not part of any month or week! Yay!
  • The Perfect Calendar perfectly follows the cycle of the moon, a woman’s menstrual cycle, the cycle of the earth around the sun, and the cycle of the moon around the earth. It’s perfect! Oof, what’s that you say? Corporate quarterly results? You say with 12 months you’d have an easier time breaking up quarters of the year into every 3 months? Well, let me help you out there! You can divide the Perfect Calendar up into quarters of 13 weeks each, plus Year Day! It’s perfect, since every week of every month is exactly 7 days long, unlike with the Gregorian calendar!
  • Ah, the Perfect Calendar. It’s mathematically perfect, aesthetically pleasing, naturally harmonic, and non-confusing! Oh, what’s that you say? What would be the name of the new month, if we have to add a thirteenth month to the year? Well, apparently people who invented this calendar proposed this new month would be called “Sol” or “Solara” and would be positioned between June and July. It’s perfect because the name of the month honors the Sun, we don’t yet have a month that honors the Sun.
  • Also, in the Northern Hemisphere of planet earth each year, the months of June and July coincide with Summer, so Solara would be a perfect name for a summer month for people in the north! However, if you feel this discriminates against people from the Southern Hemisphere, who experience winter during June and July, fear not! We can always instead add an extra month to the year that I invented called “Valara”, which can either be added between June and July or after the month of December, and it does not discriminate against anyone’s winter, summer or hemisphere! For some people, Valara would be in summer, and for others, in winter! Yay!
